Meet the professional musicians of the faculty.

W.B. Stevens - violin, viola

Mr Stevens is a professional violinist in New York, whose expertise as a performer and teacher has been honed over many years. He wishes to pass on to students the techniques that he has developed which have enabled him to perform and grow ever better. His qualifications include degrees from Kansas State University.

Rowan Harvey - violin, Suzuki violin, viola

Rowan is a versatile and accomplished violinist and educator based in New York City. She has performed as a recitalist and chamber musician in Australia, Europe, and North America, playing in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall and Melbourne Concert Hall in Australia and the Merkin Concert Hall and Weill Recital Hall in New York.

After moving to New York, she obtained a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in violin performance from Stony Brook University. As an orchestral violinist, Rowan has performed with the Opera Australia Orchestra and Australian Chamber Orchestra and has been a member of the West Michigan Symphony, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the Albany Symphony Orchestra.

Yes, online lessons and in-person lessons at some locations are available in 30 minute and 45 minute time slots. They are priced accordingly.

Yes, while we may recommend certain method books based on skill level and age, we are flexible in terms of repertoire. You are welcome to bring sheet music that interests you to work on.

No, an instrument in your size will be available for you to try out during the Introductory lesson.

The flexible cancellation policy means that you are able to reschedule a missed lesson once per 4 lesson cycle.
